David Shrigley Mug: Lot's To Be Happy About

There’s an ease to David Shrigley’s work that translates naturally onto something as everyday as a mug—dry, slightly absurd, and unexpectedly sharp. These pieces carry that same tone, turning a routine coffee into something a little more self-aware. The illustrations don’t over-explain themselves; they sit there quietly, letting the humour land in its own time.

Printed on both sides, the artwork stays in view from any angle, while the brightly coloured gift box extends the same offbeat energy beyond the mug itself. It’s a simple object, but one that introduces a subtle shift in mood—functional, familiar, but never entirely straightforward.
